1. Service and parties
TeacherMate provides tools for individual and group lesson schedules, students, homework and payment records. The Operator and right holder is Anatoliy Nikolaevich Roslyakov (Russian legal name: Росляков Анатолий Николаевич); contact: teachermate@yandex.ru. Legal status, applicable registration details and a postal address must be supplied before approval.
The service is not a party to teacher–student contracts, an educational institution, bank, payment agent or tax adviser. The reviewed version does not collect lesson payments. Users enter marks and amounts; these do not replace receipts, accounting records or payment evidence.
Teachers act independently, in their own name and at their own expense. They set lesson prices and terms, select students and payment methods, and enter into and perform agreements with students and representatives. Using TeacherMate does not create representation, agency, employment or a joint venture with the Operator. Users may not bind the Operator or claim its endorsement without separate written authority.
The Operator does not certify teachers’ or students’ qualifications, legal status, good faith or creditworthiness. An account, lesson entry or user-supplied information is not an Operator recommendation, guarantee or verification of those matters.
2. Agreement and legal capacity
Terms must be available before the agreement is concluded. Acceptance requires an explicit user action associated with an accessible link to this revision. Visiting the landing page does not create an account, accept an agreement or consent to data processing. The Operator must implement presentation and recording of acceptance before introducing this revision; publishing files is insufficient.
Users must have legal capacity; minors act with a representative where required. Organisation representatives must be authorised. Independent child registration without a lawful basis and required consent is prohibited.
3. Licence and price
Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use available functions for their intended purpose in the application or browser. Rights in code, interface, logos and materials remain with their holders. Reselling access, presenting the product as your own and copying protected materials is prohibited except as permitted by law.
These terms do not establish a fee or subscription. Future paid functions require advance pricing, renewal, cancellation and refund disclosures and separate confirmation. Use cannot become chargeable retroactively.
4. Account
Application sign-in methods include one-time email and Telegram codes. Users must lawfully control contacts, protect devices and codes, avoid impersonation and report compromise. Accounts must not be shared to circumvent limits. Responsibility for personal and authorised actions does not make users unconditionally responsible for every compromise or remove Operator duties.
Users are responsible for information they enter or instruct authorised persons to enter and must correct errors promptly. They check recipients, access rights and data before disclosure, and the results of operations they select. Loss of account control must be reported without undue delay. Responsibility for unauthorised persons’ actions follows law and the circumstances of access, not merely the fact that an account was used.
5. User materials and data
Users retain rights in their materials. The Operator receives only rights needed to technically store, reproduce, display to users, process and transmit materials to user-selected integrations during service provision and the lawful deletion period. This does not authorise content sales, advertising publication or AI model training.
Users ensure rights in materials, lawful student-data use, notices and required consent, correspondence confidentiality, copyright and child-data requirements. Do not enter unnecessary special-category data, health information, passwords or bank credentials. Users are responsible for homework content, schedules, amounts and their own taxes.
Teachers are independently responsible for the legality and content of teaching, methods, materials and homework; required authorisations and qualifications; obligations to students and representatives; arrangements for rescheduling, cancellation, refunds, payment and learning outcomes; and child-protection, tax and other mandatory requirements. Students and other users are responsible for their own arrangements, payments, materials and lawful service use. Merely using TeacherMate does not transfer these obligations to the Operator.
Before entering another person’s data, users must have a specific lawful ground for disclosure and instructed processing, give necessary notices and obtain consent from the subject or legal representative where required, with the ability to demonstrate that ground. A justified request about a specific violation may require necessary evidence without excessive data. When a ground ends or a valid request is received, users must stop the relevant processing and arrange correction, restriction or deletion, notifying the Operator if they cannot act themselves.
The Operator does not perform prior legal, educational or financial review of every user entry. Absence of review is not endorsement and does not remove statutory duties once a violation becomes known.
6. Student-data processing mandate
To the extent a teacher controls student data, the teacher instructs TeacherMate to process it for schedules, groups, student records, homework and statistics. Subjects are students and identified legal representatives. Data comprises names/aliases, Telegram usernames, groups, lessons, homework, prices, payment records and descriptions for those purposes. Other categories are outside the mandate.
Operations are collection on instructions, recording, organisation, accumulation, storage, correction, retrieval, use for those functions, disclosure to authorised persons and user-selected integrations, restriction, erasure and destruction. Duration is the agreement term and necessary lawful deletion period. Independent advertising processing is excluded.
The Operator maintains confidentiality, follows principles and rules of Federal Law No. 152-FZ and applicable Article 18(5) and Article 18.1 requirements, ensures Article 19 security, follows lawful instructions, provides performance information and documents on request, assists data-subject rights and notifies the teacher of incidents under Article 21(3.1). Other processors require a proper lawful basis and equivalent safeguards.
Teachers ensure lawful initial collection and required consent. The Operator remains responsible for its own duties. Where applicable law, including GDPR Article 28, requires an additional agreement, it must be signed before supplying data and include mandatory terms, subprocessors and transfer details. These terms do not replace missing infrastructure disclosures.
7. Device calendar and external services
Device-calendar export is optional and requires OS permission. Titles, times and descriptions are passed; users should check for unnecessary data. Refusal does not disable the core calendar. External sync depends on the provider. Editing or deleting a TeacherMate lesson does not guarantee changes to external copies.
External websites, Telegram and app stores have their own terms. This does not exclude the Operator’s responsibility for its own selection and use of contractors as required by law.
8. Prohibitions
Unlawful use, infringement, malicious code, bypassing authentication, accessing others’ data, unlawful bulk collection, overloading and spam are prohibited. Security research must stay within law and agreed authorisation. Report vulnerabilities to the contact email without publishing others’ data.
Fraud, unlawful messaging or advertising, impersonated collection, personal-data disclosure without a proper basis, discrimination, threats, exploitation of minors and links to prohibited materials are also banned. Users must not create the appearance that the Operator endorses them, a transaction or an educational service.
9. Availability and copies
The Operator may update functionality and perform maintenance. No particular uptime or compatibility with every device is promised without a separate agreement. Reasonable recovery measures are taken; mandatory quality and privacy duties remain.
Keep lawful copies of important information using available means. This does not excuse Operator breaches. Statistics depend on entries and do not guarantee income, error-free planning or learning outcomes.
10. Restrictions and termination
Confirmed violations, security threats or lawful requirements permit proportionate restrictions and blocking unlawful materials. Where possible, reasons and review procedures are provided; urgent action may precede notice. Users may request review and access to their data to the extent legally permitted.
Users may stop use and delete accounts through settings or email. Logging out and uninstalling do not delete server accounts. Deletion and lawful retention follow the policy and law. Planned service closure is notified in advance where possible and required.
To investigate a specific violation, the Operator may request proportionate explanations and evidence of authority, content rights or a processing ground. Disputed operations or materials may be restricted during investigation where necessary and lawful. User information is disclosed to claimants or authorities only on a proper lawful ground; a third-party complaint alone does not authorise disclosure.
When a request is submitted through the app, the account and associated personal data are deleted immediately after the user confirms the request. Requests sent to teachermate@yandex.ru are fulfilled within 30 calendar days of receipt. Any shorter deadline required by law applies.
Deletion is permanent: the account and deleted data cannot be restored. Before submitting a request, lawfully save any information you need.
11. Liability and third-party claims
Each party is responsible for its own breaches and other statutory cases. The Operator remains responsible for providing the service and its mandatory duties to the extent required by law. A user’s unlawful acts are not, by themselves, acts of the Operator.
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator does not assume responsibility for the content, accuracy or legality of user-entered information and links; teaching quality, safety, content or outcomes; conduct of teachers, students and representatives; their contractual breaches; non-payment, cancelled lessons or refunds under their transactions. These events alone do not oblige the Operator to deliver a lesson, pay another person’s debt, reimburse tuition or resolve a dispute in place of its parties.
To the maximum lawful extent, the Operator excludes lost profits, expected income or customers and indirect losses connected with service use. This limitation does not apply where prohibited in the particular case. There is no guarantee of error-free user records, income or learning outcomes.
Users must compensate the Operator for documented losses directly caused by their proven breach of law or these terms where legal grounds for liability and causation exist. This may include necessary, reasonable costs of defending substantiated third-party claims and amounts payable under a final court decision or settlement agreed with the user, to the extent caused by the user’s breach. Users may dispute the amount, necessity, legal grounds and allocation of responsibility. No automatic recovery, unconditional compensation for every claim or transfer of liability for the Operator’s own breach is established. Administrative and other public-law penalties follow law and are not automatically shifted by these terms.
For claims concerning user materials, the Operator may inform the user of the claim, request necessary explanations and invite participation in resolution. The parties cooperate in good faith, preserve relevant information lawfully held and take reasonable steps to mitigate loss. An admission or unagreed settlement by the Operator cannot automatically impose a new obligation on the user.
Nothing excludes liability for intentional wrongdoing, mandatory personal-data requirements, death or personal injury, or other non-excludable cases. Provider or external-service failures do not automatically excuse the Operator’s own duties. Mandatory consumer and data-subject rights remain regardless of these terms.
12. Law and disputes
Russian law governs, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other non-waivable rights. Send complaints to teachermate@yandex.ru; statutory response periods apply. Prior contact is encouraged but does not remove access to courts or regulators. Jurisdiction follows law; exclusive venue at the Operator’s location is not imposed.
13. Revisions and language
Date and version appear on this page. Material changes are communicated before taking effect and accepted separately where required; they do not apply retroactively. Updates cannot legitimise new processing retroactively. Invalidity of one clause leaves the rest effective to the extent lawful.
Russian is the principal version; English is a translation. Russian prevails on discrepancies unless doing so limits mandatory user rights. The policy describes processing separately and does not replace legally required separate consent.
14. Reporting violations
Report rights infringements, unlawful data or abuse to teachermate@yandex.ru. Provide a reply contact, the specific record or circumstances, the right affected and available evidence. Do not send login codes, tokens or excessive student information. Representatives provide necessary proof of authority.
The Operator handles reports within applicable legal procedures and deadlines, seeks clarification where necessary, restricts disputed processing or materials and communicates the outcome to the extent lawful. Urgent lawful measures may precede completion of the review. False reports and fabricated evidence are prohibited; good-faith reporters are not liable merely because a violation is not confirmed.
